En 1959, le Golden Gate Quartet signe un contrat de deux ans avec le Casino de Paris pour se produire dans la revue de Line Renaud "Plaisir"
L'été 1959 Elvis Presley en permission à Paris, vient les applaudir. Entre américains à Paris ils feront ensuite le bœuf dans la loge de Line Renaud jusqu’à 6 h du matin avec la guitare de Loulou Gasté.
